Furnace Service Includes:

  • Check heat exchanger for cracks, rust, debris. clean as necessary
  • Check inducer for wear, noise, dust
  • Check ignition system for wear and clean
  • Clean flame sensor. (most common cause of no heat calls)
  • Clean drain trap and drain tubing. (high efficient units)
  • Test manifold gas pressure, adjust as necessary
  • Check belts and pulleys
  • Check blower motor for wear, oil if possible, clean out cooling ports
  • Check fan wheel, vacuum or wash as necessary, adjust alignment if necessary
  • Check and tighten electrical connections
  • Check filters
  • Check for gas leaks
  • Clean burners, check for proper flame pattern
  • Clean fresh air and combustion air intakes
  • Check that venting for exhaust gases is unobstructed and up to code
